Need to stay in touch or get your message out? The Coonamble Times shares the news, events, sport and other happenings across the Coonamble, Gulargambone and Quambone districts and the wider western NSW region.
We’ve been part of the conversation since 1885. Today, our print and online publications connect current and former residents, businesses, government and non-profit service providers, as well as followers and supporters throughout Australia and the world.
We are a proudly independent and locally-owned small business. We promote other businesses operating in our area and our services are designed to add value to their enterprises and strengthen our community and economy. We love where we live.
Above all, we value our strong network of volunteer contributors, photographers, advertisers and readers who are the real ‘owners’ of The Coonamble Times Newspaper.

Angie O’Connor
Design / Administration
Angie has a handle on all things design at the Coonamble Times. Her background in graphic design and art, combined with years of experience in print and digital media, means she has developed a quick, efficient and effective design style. When she isn’t whipping up eye-catching designs, she is taking care of the front of house responsibilities. Printing, copying, passport photos and more, she is the go to girl for quick customer service with a smile.

Neil Ruttley
Advertising / Sales
Neil is in charge of business relationships and advertising at the Coonamble Times. Whether he is putting a package together to put your business on the map or finding a way to get maximum exposure within a limited budget, Neil is the person to really get you bang for your buck. With a background in finance, Neil has a fresh perspective on the industry, and is ready to adapt with you to meet your market and beyond!

Lily Plass
Journalist
Lily is one half of our fresh cadet journalist duo. She enjoys covering everything from special events to the latest news on health, politics and more. With her notebook in hand, she can always be seen running around town trying to find the next good story, or in the gym cracking the next personal best. No topic is too big or little for Lily, but she loves a good feature story more than anything. So, if you have a story to be shared, don’t be afraid to say hi to Lily!

River McCrossen
Journalist
River is the other half of our latest journalism cadets. From government policy and council happenings to sport and community, he isn’t afraid to get into the nitty gritty of local life. Never too busy for a chat, especially when he senses a story, River has become a familiar face around town. And with a penchant for photography that often places him right where the action is, you can often catch River, camera in hand at local events, so say cheese!

Anne Mackay
Accounts
Anne has a handle on all things accounting. With a head for numbers and a knack for balancing books (the financial kind), Anne has got the savvy and experience required to answer any queries and allay any concerns. In addition to being a friendly face for advertisers, unless they’re way overdue, Anne helps keep the wheels turning at the Coonamble Times and is a champion for what we do and the community we serve.
